Problem:
- Everything is running slow.
- Random pop up when opening browser.
- Pop up in Task bar saying you need to purchase anti-virus because you have so many virus.
Solution:
- Reboot machine into safe mode
- Restore system if you have it ON
- download three or four anti spy-ware software like: Spybot/Malwarebites/Ad-Aware AE/Webroot Spy Sweeper
- Run each spy-ware software in Safe Mode with network.
- Important to remember when you do the scans and it finds the malware on the machine you need to locate it and make sure everything is deleted.
- After all scans are done and you have located and deleted run MSCONFIG
- And make sure there is no Service or command line to restart the spy-ware from running.
Once these steps are done, You are Ready to reboot and run your PC again.
